Come Aboard the Reading Promise is a public literacy campaign facilitating active learning & reading games for parents and children as they commute on Philadelphia’s transit system. Through collaboration and constant conversation with families,  community leaders, and local organizations such as Read By 4th and Free Library of Philadelphia, we conceptualized the full campaign with over 150 multi-media placements throughout the city, in less than a month and a half. 

These designs ranged from two full subway station takeovers, 70 bus shelters, three dozen buses, and hundreds of subway and rail signs across the city, along with numerous family giveaway items. As a result, we connected thousands of Philadelphian families with more literacy resources and secured more funding for reading movements in the city.
